Q: My question is, Is the day someone is born the same as the day he is going to die, like if someone is born on saturday is he going to die on saturday? as well

Q: Please advise:

1. Why had Al-Andalus, and later, Al-Maghrib, cut off their relationship with the Abbasid Khilaafat of Baghdad in order to become independent states?

2. Was their above action correct according to the Sharia?

Q: Can you please tell me "Those who keep their tongues wet with the zikr of Allah, will enter paradise smiling" is this a Hadith, if so is it authentic?

Q: I bought an automatic watch that was stated to be all stainless steel. However, I was looking through the  case back and it appears that the rotor (instrument that winds the watch that makes it work) might be gold plated. I looked online and it does seem like the rotor is made of steel, not solid gold. The rest of the watch components, such as the dial, hands, markers, case, strap, buckle & case back are either made of steel or crystal.  Would it be impermissible to wear such a watch if the rotor (or any other mechanical part on the inside) is gold plated?  If that is the case and I have been wearing that watch for the past 8 months, what needs to be done? Should I sell it or would that also be impermissible?

Q: I have 3 children alhamdulillah. Last one is a new baby boy. I wanted to keep his name Zayyan or Ehan but one of my neighbours said not to keep these names as they have no meaning in Arabic, they look more Indian. Is this true ? And can we keep such names?

Q: I would like to enquire whether we can trust MJC and NIHT. Reason being there seems to be a lot of doubt with these as compared to SANHA. It makes me wonder how all the meat supplied to Mc Donalds and KFC can be halaal as there is a lot of animals that would be slaughtered and to slaughter an animal in compliance with shariah takes more time and care so how do we know that these animals are being slaughtered accordingly?

Q: I have been given 1 talak and was told from the moulana that I must sit in iddat and after 3 cycles my nikaah will be broken. I want to know whether after the 2nd and 3rd talak do I still sit in iddat?

Q: Is it permissible to make the below wazifa? If not, please advise a wazifa for heart pain. 

"As soon as you finish your fard Salah, put your right hand on your heart and recite this verse 11 times:"
