Q: I am a single parent of two career children living in a rented house and jobless for the last 21 months. I am surrounded with problems and now dependent upon my parents and under debts. Wherever I apply for a job, they like me but then no response for months and when I follow up they either reject me or say that the position is on hold. I am worried and depressed, my son and I pray a lot and recite Quran all the time and try hard to do good deeds but no change in our circumstances and no hope of getting a job. My previous employer has deducted my held salary for one year because I am in law suit with them too. A huge amount is due upon them as they breached the contract. Please pray and let me know what to do. I pray tahajjud as well and never missed any prayer. Thinking to start fasting from tomorrow. I took your advice on my nikaah as well and you approved it to be valid because I was doubting my nikaah as the families were not involved. Just did proposal and acceptance in front of two male Muslims. Please help me and let me know how my situation can be improved. I am living with my son. My second husband visits me and my children know about him. So its not completely secret.

Q: Is it haraam for a couple to sleep in a separate room?
Q: If a husband told his wife many times "you are free to go forever from my life" or "go to your fathers house". Does this mean talaq?
Q: If a husband and wife are fighting and the wife asks for a divorce but the husband has no intention to give divorce and remains silent, then the wife again says that I can't live with you and husband unintentionally says okay but no intention of divorce at all. Now the wife said to him that since you said okay to my statement, our marriage is over. Please explain if it is a divorce even if the husband did not utter anything except okay. If it is a divorce then how many take place?
Q: If a husband does not give enough money for spending at home e.g. groceries, shopping, rent, credit card bills, etc. and because of that situation every time there is a fight between the couple and this affects the kids as well, so what should the wife do to take care of the kids and house. The husband has alot of money for other expenses but he is not bothered about his family.
Q: If a husband made an unnecessary restriction on his wife to meet her relatives because of jealousy, is it permissible for the wife to agree to this decision. In other words, she does not want to stop meeting with her relatives (because this is not part of deen, just because of his jealousy)?
Q: We live in a western country and due to low income, the government gives money to our kids for extra assistance. We now have more than $20,000 in the bank of this money that the government has given to our kids. Is zakat compulsory on this money?
Q: I have a question on putting investment.
We have a group of around 45 people and each guy is putting a total of 1200 AED for 1.5 years. And one guy among us is buying a Limo Taxi to run as per Government Rules and every month he will be giving us 15% of the money after his expenditures like room, food, etc.
Total 55000AED only will be from our group of people, and remaining cash needed-the guy who is purchasing the car will be arranging. As per him, he will be paying back monthly to Emirates Transport, a Government Authority, the cash he will arrange. We asked any interest in that, he said he is not sure about it.
We will be getting 15% from the 55000AED amount we are investing, and this is fixed percentage, and the amount may increase or decrease based on how much work he will get with his taxi. But the percentage will be same 15%.
I would like to ask you, if in the amount we are investing there is no interest, will it be haram for us? Because, in the amount this guy is arranging, he may be paying monthly to Authority with interest.
