Q: I want to ask a couple of questions regarding qadha prayers.
1. What should be my niyaah when praying qadha namaz and what time of the day should I offer it?
2. How should I offer my qadha prayers, given that I have the following ones left? (I have only made an estimation, because I don't remember the count exactly): Fajr-4, Zuhr-6, Maghrib-1, Isha-Salaat-ul-witr of 2-2.5 years (around 800)
3. Do I need to offer all of the witr prayers or is there any alternative to it? I request you to outline the complete method, so that I can offer them as quickly as possible.
Q: I would like to find out if we can give Azaan with shoes on.
Q: I had some problems in my life. I promised to my dear Allah that I will do sadaqah in the form of goats. It became four goats as a whole. Is it mandatory to do sadqa in the form of goats? Or I can pay the money in place? If so then how much I have to pay?
Q: In the country where I live, many masaajid have been closed to the public and people are not allowed to perform salaah in the masaajid. Hence, in such a situation, can jumuah salaah be performed in people’s homes? If it is permissible, then apart from the two khutbahs that have to be recited before the salaah, what are the other important conditions required for the jumuah salaah to be valid?
Q:
1. What is the correct Islamic belief regarding sicknesses, diseases, epidemics, etc.? Are they contagious or not?
2. Please provide a detailed explanation of the following two Ahaadith narrated in regard to sicknesses, لا عدوى ولا طيرة - (there are no contagious sicknesses nor any bad omens) and فر من المجذوم كما تفر من الاسد- (flee from a leper as you will flee from a lion).
It apparently seems as though the meanings of both these Ahaadith contradict each other. What is the correct understanding and reconciliation of both these Ahaadith?
3. At the time of an epidemic, what is the Islamic teaching in dealing with people who are afflicted?
4. During the time of an epidemic, did the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) who were not afflicted attend the Musjid for salaah?
Q: Whilst teaching, is a woman in the state of haidh allowed to practically demonstrate the postures of salaah to other women? (i.e. go into ruku, sujood, etc)?
Q: What is the sharai ruling regarding waiting for the arrival of maiyyat's relatives after performing salatul janazah and placing maiyyat in the qabar with rest of the body covered, and only the face is left open in the qabar for 2,3 hours until the relatives arrive. The face is covered after the relatives coming from distant places view the deceased.
Q: I have a question about credit card's if you could please answer it, My question is this: Are credit card's Halaal?
To elaborate on this - if a company offers me 10,000 euros to spend on a card as and when I wish and all I have to do is pay back what I have used in 30 days and no charges will be applied to my month bill, BUT if I don't pay off this amount that I have used in the past 30 days then they will add interest to my repayments, like 15% of what I have used every month till I pay it off and based on this I agree and I enter into this agreement with that company and take and use this card. My intention is to pay off my bill every month before any interest is applied so I don't pay any Riba (interest) and I do, I keep up with my repayments every time and I don't not pay any interest at any point. But I have agreed that if I do miss a payment that I will pay them the interest. Is this permissible? Is it allowed for a Muslim to enter such a contract to make a agreement to pay Riba(interest) if such and such happens, but the Muslims intention is to never be in that situation but yet still agreeing that if I do fall in that situation I will pay you with interest. A brother of mine fell on hard times and he took a credit card to get himself through this hard times and he told me that some Ulema have said that it is permissible if you need it and as long as you stay within the monthly repayments without the add of interest. My understanding is that a Muslim must live by his oath and even agreeing to do Haram(whether or not you do it) is Haraam.
Jazak'Allah Khayrr for your time and I wait to hear your reply and clarity on this matter.
