Removal of hair for one performing hajj and qurbaani

Q: I know that if a person will be performing qurbaani, then he should avoid removing his hair and nails during the first ten days of Zul Hijjah, until his qurbaani animal has been slaughtered.

However, I was told that when performing hajj, you should remove your hair and nails before the 7th of Zul Hijjah. My questions are as follows:

1. If you are performing both qurbaani and hajj, then when should you remove your hair and nails – should you remove them before the 7th of Zul Hijjah or before the 10 days of Zul Hijjah?

2. Do you need to perform the qurbaani yourself, or can it be performed on your behalf at home by some family member (i.e. parents, siblings or children)?

Neighbours giving one haraam food

Q: Our Muslim neighbours offered my husband chicken biryani but we were not sure if the chicken was halaal or not since we've seen them before buying non halaal chicken but they argue that its halaal. We removed the chicken from the biryani and ate the rice but we felt bad about it. What must be done in such situations?

Hazrat Aasiyah (radhiyallahu anha) being the wife of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in Jannah

Q: I have heard that Hazrat Aasiyah (radhiyallahu anha) will be among the wives of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in Jannah, but I do not know whether this is true or not. Can I make dua to Allah Ta'ala to make me the husband of Hazrat Aasiyah (radhiyallahu anha) in Jannah?

Returning stolen money

Q: When I was younger, I was involved in petty crime (theft). Now that I am older, I realise my wrongdoing, and want to know how can I repay this debt.

1. I often took money from my late-parents, without their knowledge. Now that they have passed away, how do I repay this debt?

2. I often took money from my late grandparents, without their knowledge. Now that they have passed away, how do I repay this debt?

3. I often took money from friends, without their knowledge. They are still alive, how do I repay this debt? Do I need to inform them of my transgression?

4. If I took R100, 20 years ago, what amount is due today? Is it the same amount or is there a calculation that I need to perform to allow for inflation?
