Q: I have a few questions;

1. I’m a student at a university in Saudi Arabia. I sometimes have lectures from 3pm- 4pm, when asr time is around 3:20pm. The Muslims around me don’t get up and perform their salah when the prayer is called, they make it up after the lecture is over. So I wanted to ask, is it permissible to not attend to salaah because you are in a lecture hall while the teacher is teaching? I was very confused because I didn’t know whether I was just being overly attentive to my salah times and stressing over how to manage my classes timings and the salaah timings, or whether it’s essential for us Muslims to attend to our salaah immediately and a lecture is no excuse.

2. Sometimes I am eating, and the azaan is called, what should I do in that case? Should I stop eating and pray, then come back and finish my food? Or should I finish my food and then go pray?

In Pakistan, many masjids have 1st floor and few have 2nd floors as well. Please enlighten me that performing jamaat salaah on 1st and 2nd floor is valid or not?

Q:

1. If I have a sore in my mouth which is bleeding and I eat with my hands, do my hands become napaak?

2. Also, if I lick my lips while my mouth is bleeding, do my lips become napaak?

3. Can I swallow the blood as it's in my mouth all the time and I can't keep spitting?

Q: My friend had affair with a married girl for 5 to 6 years. Now he wants to leave that bad affair and wants to come on Allah's path and leave all bad habits, but the girl wants him to continue that affair otherwise she will go for suicide. What should he do? Will this be counted as a sin because he is hurting her by breaking their bad affair? What should he do?

Q: I would like to know if I could talk to a non mahram for the purpose of a secret marriage as my first wife will not agree to my 2nd marriage and is asking for a divorce if I marry a 2nd wife so hence i am considering a 2nd marriage.

Q: Me and my, don’t no what to call him, but we did zina and I got pregnant. We didn’t end up having nikaah. He didn’t want to have it with me still after I had the baby. I’m giving him hints that I want it pure and clean and he does not want to. We are both Muslims, grew up both in Muslim households and I’m just lost. I don’t know what to do.

Q: Is the urine and stool of sheep, cattle and horses paak or napaak?

Q: Is it permissible for a lady to only agree to marry a man if he accepts that he will not get second wife?

Q: If a man is in debt (for example R100 000 debt), is he allowed to accept zakaat to pay off the debt?

Bear in mind that the man has no assets in his name (his father has assets such as properties and a business, but the son himself has no wealth or assets). The debt is in the name of the business that the father owns, but the responsibility of the debt is the son's (the father is unaware of the debt). The son however, is in possession of stock to the value of his debt, but the stock is not selling. Can the son receive zakaat in order to pay off his debts?

Q: If mazi comes out on underwear then how many times must you wash that area for it to become pure?
