Q: Please explain how will one need to make qadha of his sunnah itikaaf.

Q: If a man tries to work hard, goes to work each day, but still is not able to earn well to support his family, can his wife support him financially? What does Islam say regarding this?

Q: I counted from 2010 when my haidh started till now and I have 1 doubt regarding it. Suppose my haidh days have to start from 7 april, now I get a green discharge on 5 april, but I may not have any discharge on 6th, 7th,and 8th. And I may get green discharge on 9th. So when should I consider my haidh starting from 7th or 9th?

Q: Can a woman in menstruation (haidh) enter the Masjid al-Aqsa compound? This is a compound surrounded by walls which contains several buildings such as the Dome of the Rock, Masjid al-Qibli, etc. Is the entire compound counted as the masjid (meaning that woman in menstruation can't enter) or is just the buildings counted as masjid and the rest as courtyard (which a woman in menstruation can enter)?

Q: I am seeking clarification on whether a woman is entitled to jewellery and other valuables given to her at the time of marriage by the groom and his family, or does she have to return them in case of divorce?

Q: Is there a reward for a woman whose husband has taken another wife?

Q: I want to divorce my husband. The reason is not that strong but I have lost love towards him. Maybe small and minute issues that stay deep in my mind are responsible. My question is whether I can divorce my husband without any strong reason?

Q: At the hifz madrasah I go to, we have exams where the students have to read Quraan and will get a mark based on tajweed, etc. Depending on what mark the students achieved, they will get a prize. Is such a type of prize halaal?

Q: I am born a Muslim but I got distracted at some point in my life and commited adultery with my ex boyfriend. However I got married last year with a virgin man. I did not repent before getting married because I did not realize that it had to be done. I have been realising my mistakes lately and I cannot tell you how ashamed I am of my past. I repented to Allah several times after marriage. 

Now I got to know that in the Quran it is mentioned that a fornicator cannot marry a pure man. I have also read that the scholars say that if a person repents, only then can they marry a pure man. As I have mentioned that I have repented from my heart and I still am repenting but it is after marriage.

Will my marriage still be valid? Or do I need to renew the marriage contract? My husband doesn’t know about my past. Please let me know what should I do now?

Q: Is it permissible in Islam to file the nikaah while the bride is in her menses (haidh)? Is nikaah jaiz for the girl in the days of her menses (haidh)?
