Reciting dua for unity to restore friendship

Q: I have a friend who I have alot of value for in my heart, however she is cold towards me. She has forgiven me for the past but doesnt wish to have any connection which I would want. It has been around 8-9 years. Will reciting the wazifa/dua for unity work for reuniting our friendship?
