Q: I had set aside a certain amount of cash to use for a gift that my sister's and I were going to give collectively. A year later my sister was ready to buy the gift, however the gift was less than the amount expected. I paid my portion of the gift. But there is still some cash leftover. Can I keep this cash for myself or do I have to gift it to the person intended. I had only set aside the cash as I had made a commitment and in the case of death I did not want it unfulfilled.

Q: Can Allah talk to us directly?

What if someone is claiming that Allah is talking to them? They are also saying that the angels are explaining the tafseer while they are reading it. They also say that sometimes jinn talk to them and they can clearly distinguish who is talking to them. 

Q: My father built a house and the house was on my grandmother's name. Now the house is on my mother's name. My father and grandmother are both dead respectively and now my mother transfered this house on my elder brother's name. We are 4 brothers and 3 sisters. My brother got the market value of the house and divided the property between us seven family member including him. What does Islam say about the division of the property?

Q: What is the meaning of "wrath and displeasure/punishment of Allah Ta'ala" Is it in this Dunya or Aakhrah? 

Q: Is it allowed for high ranking non-Muslim officials or MLAs or ministers to participate in the line of congregational prayer such as eid, etc.?

Q: Is it permissible to receive funding as a donation from non-Muslims as asked for by a masjid and madrassah? Where should it be utilised?

Q: I'm getting married in June Insha-Allah. When my parents were discussing the mahr, I kept a request in front of my in laws and my husband that instead of money I wanted to be gifted with a Surah from the Quran which will hold a value of living a good life after marriage and adding barakah to our life. So me and my husband will be memorizing it. Is it a valid point?

Q:

1. I need to issue a divorce to my wife but she is in my home country and I am abroad, can it be done via video call?

2. If I say it 3 times is it a valid and will the divorce be final ?

3. She has 2 kids from a previous marriage (their father is no longer in their life), after divorce, do I have any rights to the children who are not biologically mine? If so what are my rights?

4. Please advise me on the correct way to issue the divorce to my wife who is living in a different country since I do not have the means to go home to do it.

Q: Can we make takfeer of all the Shia?

Q: I told my wife that if she talked with her family members on her mobile except her mother and father then she will be divorced. If in case she talked to anyone then what will be the situation? Will she be divorced? I said only once talaaq in case she talked with them on the mobile.
