Q: A woman did not sit in iddat after divorce. A few days after the divorce, she remarried. Is this nikaah valid or not?

Q: When I was ignorant about Islam I fell in love with a girl. When I went on the path of Islam I realised my mistake and eventually told her that this is haram. She didnt understand so I left her and made dua to Allah in every prayer to give her hidayat just like He showed me the path, nothing more. Allah miraculously changed her heart in a month and made her curious about Islam. She finally asked one day to know more about Islam on the phone. I sent her Islamic books to read. She became a good Muslim in a short time. She never misses any farz and also gives time with fellow Muslim women in reading hadith to them. I promised her to do nikah with her after asking my parents. But my parents are against it. They are too much depressed in losing dignity in society. My mother even cries for my choice. I told them I would never do nikah without their permission ever in life. But I am emotionally helpless, what should I do? 

Q: I'm looking for a job and I got an offer in at an Investment Banking. I didn't know if I should accept it because I do not know if working in a bank is haram? Can I accept this job offer?

Q: If I missed a fardh prayer of fajr then I went to offer zuhar prayer with jamat and when jamat started then should I first offer qaza prayer of fajr and then join the jamat or should I first join the jamat for zuhar prayer and then offer farz prayer of fajr?

1. Do I need to take a bath after having intercourse?

2. Can I wash my private part and make wudu and perform salat without having a bath?

Q: I read somewhere that when a couple date before marriage, the sins of dating could sabotage the happiness in the marriage and when things are done the halaal way then there’s less likelihood of problems arising. But, if anything should go wrong even when done the halaal way, then at least they would know that it was a test from Allah and that the sins of dating did not contribute to it since they would not have done so. Therefore, if they did everything in the halaal way, they wouldn’t have any regrets thinking they should have done things differently.

Q: My mother, 58, is diabetic and a high bp patient. Contrary to the doctors advice, she observes the Ramadan fasts, alhamdulilah. However, in her young days, she casually skipped many fasts and accordig to her estimation she has skipped around 200 fasts. Given her present condition (Allah bless her with health and life) she might not be able to makeup for those fasts herself in her life.

I know that a son can observe/makeup fast for their parents after their death. Can I observe those missed fasts for her in her life too? If yes then can I now make niyat for my past nafal fasts to make up for her numbers? If initially its a no then would paying only fidya be enough for making up? Please guide on this matter.

Q: Wholesalers often sell to retailers large stocks on a credit period and for this credit period they often charge a little higher price for the stock then those making cash sales. It is clear that retailers purchase big stocks and cannot pay for that upfront and often prefer to purchase on credit. Does that little higher price charged for the credit period amount to interest? A house hold appliances wholesale business is in question.

Q: I want to ask about khula. I have taken khula about 4 days ago. My husband lives in Australia and he is not with us for the last 16 months. I started working in December and I am in my probation period because of which I am not allowed to leave. If I leave the job then it will be difficult for me to get another job as I am a mother of a baby boy. This is my source of income so that I can pay for his school and other expenses in future. Kindly guide me according to my whole situation.

Q: Is consuming wine cake haram?
