Q: My brother wants to run a gents salon business. Is this business halaal? If not, can you please mentioned what is haraam?

Q: I am an enginneer from Pakistan and I am working in a private company which is the offshore company of another Company in USA, so our office is controlled by USA company. That USA company makes electronic solutions including medical, residential commercial, military and a lot of other solutions. I am currently working on medical solutions but my concern is that the company also provides solutions to military. Should I be concerned about that or not? Is it halaal to work for this company?

Q: I am working in a software house as a software engineer where I develop a software for a leasing and finance company. That leasing and finance company gives cars/vehicles to their customers on interest. And I develop and provide them the software for their interest business. Is my job is right or wrong? What should I do? 

Q: I am a product designer. I got an offer from a company. The new company buys good from China, modify the logo, colour, etc. and sell it in the European market. Among the things they buy mostly, are speakers, mobile phone accessories, and also musical instruments that include a guitar, or a drumkit.

My job is to suggest a colour and finish to the goods if required. Apart from that, the core business of the company is - it manufactures audio speakers (its own) and also synthesizers, guitar distortion units, and mixers. However I will not have anything to do with the core business department. My department is only concerned with sourcing goods from China, modifying it a little if required and selling it. Kindly give me your opinion if it is halaal or haraam.

Q: In Islam, is it permissible for a person to become a doctor?  To become a doctor, one will have to carry out many haraam acts e.g. dissecting cadavers (corpses), etc. Since mutilating a corpse is haraam, will becoming a doctor also be haraam?

Q: I am a male masseuse and I have a massage parlour which is for males only. Sometimes, my clients want me to massage an area that is regarded as satar e.g. thighs, buttocks, etc. Is it permissible for me to massage these areas?

Q: I am a female working in a beauty salon. One of the services that we offer is hair removal. At times, we are requested to remove hair from the armpits, pubic area, etc. Is this permissible?

Q: I want to make my passport so I went to the passport office and there are agents sitting there. They do all the procedures of making the passport and charge some extra money for my easiness. Is this thing is right or wrong? Is this bribery or not?
