Ihraam

Q: If a person coming from Australia on a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia, to his parents and performs umrah also, how may days he should stay in Jeddah to become a muqeem and make ihraam from Jeddah to perfom umrah? 

Q: I am 55 years old and I have a disability on my left leg due to which I have great difficulty in walking even a few steps. Now I use a leg brace due to which I can walk even 1 km. However, I have to wear a trouser first so that the brace does not damage my skin. What should I do in ihraam?

Q: When performing tawaaf in the state of ihraam, is it permissible to wear socks?

Q: I am living in Taif for work purposes. I frequently go for Umrah from Taif, however sometimes I go to Musjid ul Haraam to perform salaah such as the Jumuah salaah.

I have recently been told that it is not permissible to go to Musjid ul Haraam just to perform salaah as respect of the Haram demands that we wear ihraam and perform Umrah before entering to perform salaah. Can you please clarify if it is permissible for me to go to Musjid ul Haraam just to perform salaah without performing Umrah?

Q: I heard that a woman can't cover her hands and face during Umrah or Hajj. But I am planning on wearing a long khimar (hijab) during Umrah which will be covering my full hands, and this type of khimar is often used for prayer. Can I wear this long khimar for Umrah?

Q: I heard that people don't wear underwear in Hajj. Is that true?

Q: If a woman wants to go for hajj, and she is worried that she might get her haidh before or during hajj, what is the ruling for her in detail? Can hajj be done during those days? Should she go, not go? If it starts in the middle what should she do?

Q: If a person comes to Makkah in ihraam but doesn't do Umrah and goes to Madinah and comes back again to Makkah and does Umrah. Is it valid? Is it mandatory once he comes to Makkah to do Umrah? He was in ihraam all time and didn't come out until umrah was completed?

Q: I am planning to go for Hajj in 2020 but not sure what kind of sandal I can wear when I am in ihraam. I found that some of them are saying I have to wear a slipper with the 2 belts (flip flop) without any stitches. Some say that I can wear any kind as long as the back and the front are open and some say that it cannot cover the middle part of the foot. Please  explain to me what kind of footwear I can wear, if possible a picture would be great.

1. Can I wear sunglasses when making tawaaf for umrah and hajj? 

2. Can I wear perfume at the time of tawaaf for umrah and hajj?
