Q:
1.Please advise if I can use my dads Ihram for Umrah, which he used for hajj?
2. I have a problem with my left leg since childhood, I have to wear a compression garment on the entire leg which covers the top of the foot and the ankle, but the toes are open, will this be permissible inthe state of Ihram.
Q: If one goes for umrah, and during the journey, one's ihraam gets soiled with some form of najaasat, can one change into a new ihraam, or does the one that's soiled have to be washed and worn again?
Q: When I was performing Hajj, in mina, muzdalifah and throughout that day where you stone shayateens etc... I noticed that before and after urination wadi has come out of my private part. I am also sure that wadi touches the ihraam which means that my ihraam may also be not clean during that time. I am worried that my hajj may not have been accepted or may be I have to pay for damm (hajj penalty)?
Q: Alhamdulillah a few years back Allah had afforded me with the opportunity to perform umrah. We flew from Jhb to Madina, and from Madina then took a taxi to the miqaat to tie ihraam and proceed to perform umrah. However while flying we flew over the miqaat, and I was wondering, were we supposed to tie ihraam on the plane before landing in Madina. If yes, then should dumm be paid?
Q: I live in Mumbai (India) and I am planning to perform Umrah. I will be taking a flight from Mumbai to Jeddah and continue onwards from Jeddah to Makkah via bus/car. I know that I need to be in the state of ihram while passing the Miqaat. I will wear Ihram at Mumbai airport so that all I have to do while passing the Miqaat (in the air) is make the Niyah.
My query is that I do not know when should I make the Niyah so that I am sure I have not missed the Miqaat boundary. I will be travelling in a flight which will not be notifying me when I pass over the Miqaat area. What is the way that I should follow? Should I make Niyah from Mumbai (India) airport OR should I make Niyaah 1 hour before reaching Jeddah? There can be a chance that I do not pass over any specific Miqaat point (rather pass through between 2 Miqaat points), what do I do in that case? ?
Q: If a person is performing hajj this year, should he refrain from clipping nails and removing unwanted hair from the first of Zul-Hijjah as he will be making Qurbani or should he clip his nails and remove unwanted hair on the 8th, before putting on his ihraam?
Q: I pass the meeqat without wearing ihram, so in this case do I have to give one Dam. Is it possible to feed some poor perosn or can I fast instead of giving damm.
Q: I have a problem of urine drops after urine and also upon waking up. Is it permissible to tie a tissue for example with an elastic band for istibra purposes then remove, and also to have a tissue tied under ihraam during sleeping to prevent ihram from being affected with the drops during sleep
Q: In the condition of ihram is it compulsory to only have 2 cloths. I have heard it is okay to take a spare set of ihraam and for example in a situation where the ihraam gets napaak can you replace it and wear one from the spare set.
