Dreams

Dream after istikhaarah

Q: I did istikhara yesterday night for marriage and saw a dream. I saw my friend who I'm no more in contact with and he was helping out my parents and sister with all kinds of work and there was pitch darkness. It was night time. So what does this dream mean?

Dream

Q: I had a dream about a few days ago. It was a very strange dream but I don't know it was a good dream or bad and I would like to know the meaning of it. I had a dream about Ml. Tariq Jameel sahib last night, I think you might know him. He is a (Pakistani Islamic scholar) but anyways in a dream, it's night time. There was this street full of Muslim peoples houses and Ml. Tariq Jameel had only one room and his room doors were open and also the light was on in his room. The people of the street were really happy and the children are playing around and the lights were on everywhere in the street, like the night of a wedding or Eid, I don't really know. So he was wearing white clothes, black have sleeves jacket and white hat thing. He was standing in his door then he called me and asked me two questions. First he asked "where did you come from?" I answered and said from Peshawar (a city in Pakistan). Second, he asked me " from where in Peshawar?" I answered and said from Gulub Araq (an area in Peshawar). Then he said, "oh really, my brother used to live there, he has two acres of land and I will ask him to give you one acre of land"... that's when I woke up.

Dream

Q: I have been jobless for the past 10 months. Therefore I have started praying 5 times alhamdullillah and read the Quran daily especially surah muzzamil, surah waqiah and yaseen every day. For quite some time I get dreams that I am sitting with the president of my country which is Kenya and then I get dreams that I am in a jungle where I am jumping over a pride of lions and shooting monkeys not with the intention of hunting and then I get dreams that I see many kittens which are white and black who are just sitting in a corner relaxing while I climb stairs. Can you let me know what these dreams mean?

Dream

Q: My father is involved in black magic against us and I am really worried about his hereafter. He is night blind too. I had four months in tableegh. With Allah's Grace following the tarteeb at masjid and home. Doing wazifas and nafals for our family. Last night prayed 6 rakats and 70 times durood tanjina made dua for afeeyat and a way out and slept I saw a dream. I saw my father going for wudhu or washing his hands. As it is a night and a dark place he is walking without any direction clueless and doing a maasah of hands till elbow without water. Than someone says to me go with your father and help him. We go to a place. It has a gate. Its like a huge square/rectangle shaped water storage. Which is full like a sea. I tell him this not normal water but special. I turn on lights of wuzu khana type place. He washes dirt from his feet or does wuzu don't remember exact. And I say some woman has stored this water. And I walk back to him. He holds my biceps like he does in real life.

Importance of Salaah and self reformation

Q: Could you be able to tell me the meaning of the following dreams. I don't remember the full dreams, only the important parts of the dreams. At the moment I don't pray 5 times, I only pray jumah.

1) In this dream I was crying and telling my sister-in-law that most beloved to Allah is salah.

2) This dream I saw myself eating outside our house then a famous imam or alim walked passed me and he said I didn't say salaam to him. Then I walked a few steps and I said to myself I should pray as much as I can or I should do my best praying namaz (salah) or something similar then I cried and woke up. I think I had tears around my eyes.

3) In this dream I saw myself picking followers from my garden, I think it was for my wedding.

Dream

Q: I'm a housewife with two kids. Since a few years me and my husband had been struggling very hard. I was not at all religious neither my husband, but hardships brought me closer to Allah. Right now this the time when my sabr is about to end, all doors seem closed... the only door that seemed like a ray of hope seems to be getting shut too... While making dua I slept in afternoon and a verse kept on coming to my dream " they plan and Allah plans and He is the best planner" I woke up in between and then slept but this keep on coming in my mind. I'm confused now. Is it a good sign (because I thought some conspiracy was going on) or does it indicates that I should give in to Allah's will, for I have very true believe that Allah will listen to me. I don't just give up on this belief... It doesn't go away although the disappointments just increases. Help me with this... explain it to me... I just don't know who to turn to.

Dream

Q: For the past 6 months I have been dreaming of snakes frequently. Last time I dreamt of escaping from snakes then killing snakes this time I dreamt of a green snake biting my finger then I used a needle to pin it. I woke up but I didn't feel any pain. I am so afraid. Is it dangerous and what about the other two snake dreams.
