Consuming alcohol

Q: I have been reading a few things regarding alcohol and the Islamic views on it for a lesson I care for. I have some questions about it.

1. If someone consumes alcohol and then leaves it and repents will Allah forgive him.

2. Is there any rule that is someone consumes alcohol he cannot perform namaaz and touch or recite quran for 40 days as alcohol stays in the body for 40 days.

3. What are some of the ways one can repent about the sin of consuming alcohol?

Dolphins

Q: I would like to know what is the ruling regarding dolphins. I know that it is regarded as the pig of the ocean, however why is this so and ‎would the same rules and prohibitions regarding pigs also apply to dolphins. Would it be acceptable to attend dolphin shows or touch it etc.

Oysters

Q: Are oysters haraam? What about oyster sauce and Chinese and Thai dishes using oyster sauce? What exactly is oyster?

Prawns

Q: Are prawns categorized as fish and if not what are they and will this make them halaal, makrooh or haraam?

Smoking cigars

Q: Is it permissible to smoke cigar? I read that since cigar smoke is not inhaled into the lungs, it can not be harmful as compared to a cigarette Secondly, what is the stance of Taraweeh prayers in Islam? Is it farz or Nafil? Either way, Is it mandatory on Muslims to offer taraweeh prayers?

Christmas food

Q: What is the ruling on eating Christmas food? If its haraam to take, then when we have been given, can I dispose of it or will Allah punnish me for been Al-mubazzir?

Halaal and haraam ingredients

Q:

1. My question is regarding Halaal/Haraam status of ingredients. While I am doing some research on food products I found ingredient animal protein (like hydrolyzed animal protein, animal protein derivative,...etc). I wanted to know whether this ingredient is halaal or haraam?

2) Is there any app present to know the status of halaal or doubtful or haram of food products?
