Q: Please can mufti saheb explain the aspect of a women's voice being part of the pardha? Someone has presented arguments that in time of Sahaba this was not found and they used to talk to Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and that one of Imam shafi RA teachers was a woman.
Being alone with a female in the shop or library
Q: If a shop owner ends up being alone in his shop with a female customer, is this counted as impermissable khalwa? (although another customer might enter the shop at any time). Also, in my local library the librarian is a women and sometimes we end up being alone in the library (although others may enter at any time), what is the ruling in this case?
Chatting to non-mahrams on the internet
Q: There is a internet friend (married) of mine. We chat, we laugh me mock each other and that’s it, the conversation contains the positive content, we discuss about the things around, the current issues, each other's families. So this is forbidden also?

Q: In our maktab after imtihaan can the male ustaads play a soccer match against the elder boys. All the girls small and older and moulana's wives will watch the match. Its only one match.
Make purdah from the husband
Q: My wife is overweight so she conceals her body from me. We do not stay with my or her parents. Is she allowed to make purdah from me? I am the husband.

Q: I am 52 years old. I wear a hijab but not a nikab. An Alima advised me that this is fine as long as my neck & chest is covered. Please advise if this is true or am committing a sin by not wearing a nikab?

- What does Islam say about women approaching men, say in the lifts, coffee breaks. No intention of any kind, just trying to be friendly and courteous. Seeing a fellow worker, and saying "Paul”, how are you, how’s the work etc. Sometimes he may just walk past, but you greet him, hey Pat, what’s this. You as a female make the first approach.

Q: A person went for Hajj. He doesn`t want to speak to his Ghair-Mahrams on the phone after coming back from Haj. Is it correct what he is doing?
