Q: I was told that one is allowed to recite any dua in Arabic in the sajda of one's salaah. I understand this does not refer to fard salaah. Is this allowed in the sunnah salaah, e.g. 4 rakaats before zuhr and the salaah after the fard salaah. Please assist.
Where should one look when performing Salaah
Q: I just want to clarify something, i've read that when someone performs Salaah he should look straight so what does it mean? What I know is that when someone performs Salaah he should look at the floor where his forehead be placed when he is in sujood. What is the correct way to perfrom Salaah?
Raising the hands till the thumbs are parallel to the earlobes
Q: What is the ruling with regards to touching the earlobes while saying takbeer-e-tahreema? I was told it is makrooh. Can mufti saheb please indicate as to where this masala can be found?

1. When reading surahs in our Salaah is there a specific sequence to choose a surah to read? e.g. Do we have to start from Wadduha then followed by the next surah?
2. Is it ok to read a short Surah followed by a longer one? e.g. Wal Asr and then Izaajaa'a. Please explain what is the correct way?
Dua to be recited in tashahhud
Q: Can you teach me or tell me the attahiyat after the second rakaat and after the last rakaat? Because I doubt if what I had memorized was wrong.
Reciting tasmiyah before qiraat in the second rakaat
Q: When performing namaaz, in the second rakaat before you say Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, do you have to say Audhubillahi Minashaytanir Rajim first? Just like the first rakaat?
Making the second rakaat longer than the first rakaat
Q: I am a Sunni Hanafi. While praying four rakaat sunnah, I recite Surah Mutaffifin. I recite first 6 ayahs is first rakaat, ayahs 7 to 17 in second rakaat, ayahs 18 -29 in 3 rakaat and ayahs 30 to 36 in the last rakaat. Am I doing it correctly? Kindly advise.
Reciting behind the Imaam
Q: I require clarification on the following
1.During Dhuhr and Asr, when we say our Salaah in silence, must the Imam and the Musallis recite the Surah/Ayats in silence, each on their own or must the Imam alone recite the Surah/Ayats and the Musallis must keep quiet?
2.On Jumu’ah Day why is the Adhaan said twice instead of one as in the other days of the week?
Tying the hands below the navel in Salaah
Q: I just want to ask when praying where should I place my hands? Is it below or above the navel? I follow Imam Abu Hanifa. Jazakallahu khayr.
