Q: When you use to gossip and you ask Allah for forgiveness and promise never to do it again. Should you also ask the people you gossip about for forgiveness or is the one between you and Allah Ta'ala enough?

Repenting from gheebat (backbiting)
Q: How can one repent for backbiting to avoid its punishment in this life and the hereafter? Does one have to inform the person whose gheebat was made and ask him for forgiveness, or is seeking forgiveness from Allah Ta'ala sufficient?
Moving away from a gathering where inappropriate things are being discussed
Q: If your family always talk about inappropriate things, that are hurtful and immodest and you do not like the atmosphere, how should you be as a person in this situation? Is it necessary that you must stay in the room, even when you do not like what is being said? Since you have to interact with your family, how long do you have to stay with them if they sit together for hours on end, if you are in this situation and you have other work to do too?
Speaking ill of the Ulama
Q: I would like to know is it kufar if one talks bad about the Ulama? The molanas in this town are having a braai at my husbands place so he made a comment like "the molanas are going to finish me up on Saturday because they don't bring anything and come and I must bring everything." I don't know if he said that or if he said "the molanas are pains they going to finish me up on Saturday because they don't bring anything and come and I must bring everything." I don't know if he used the word "pains" or not or if it is waswasaa from my part. Im 100% sure of the rest of the statement besides the word "pains". I told him not to say such things. But I do know that talking bad about the ulama can be detrimental to one's Deen.
Backbiting a person who has passed away
Q: What happens if you back bite someone who is a believer or a non-believer who has already passed away? How can I get rid of this sin off my record?

Q: Mera ayk sawaal hai ki hamare ghar mein kisi ki ghibat karna kisi ki choghli karna aur dosre ghar walaon ko bora bhalai kehna ye sab hamare ghar mein aam baad hai. Kya ise rookna ghalat hai main jabbhi in chizaon se rookta hon to mere waaleda sab bhaiyon ke nazar mein gira detin hain. Kya main ghalat hon kya ye mera rook na meri walidain ki izzat na karne mein shamil hai? Aur mere chote bhai aur mere bade bhai kehte hain ki main ghalat hon aur kehte hain ki main apne apko accha banne ka diqawa karta hon.

Q: Mene khwaab dekha men apne lye kuchh paka rhi hu ek 2 botiyan hen jo k kisi insan ki hen aur mjhe kirahat horhi hy k men ye kese khaungi, phir haandi se nikal k phenk deti hu, dobara dusri botyan leti hu wo b yehi feel hota hy k insan ka gosht hy aur buht kirahat hoti hy usy b nikal kr phenk deti hu. Men is khwab se buht preshan hu kahin ye mere gunahon ki taraf to ishara nahi?
Refraining from gheebat
Q: I had a dream yesterday in which I went to a kebab store with a girl I want to marry. After we ordered the food the person who sold it to us told us that the meat may be bad. So we ate but left the meat aside. Does this dream have a meaning?
Imaam involved in wrongs
Q: If any Imaam of a Masjid is involved in backbiting, absent in Fajar, involved in sinful acts and instigating committee to take action against other Khaadims of Masjid. Eating Zakaat money without any eligibilty. Many opportunities were given to him. On a number of occasions Imaam has written in a letter that he would not get involved in backbiting and instigating hatred among the musallees but he still continued.He is playing politics outside the Musjid. He has put misunderstanding between members and musallees. He has made the Musjid as place of business. Whether he can be terminated from his duty as Imaam?
