Ordering a Quraan online

Q: Recently I ordered a Quraan Sharif with English translation from Amazon. They delivered my order to my door.

My question is that now I'm feeling very conscious of how and who might have handled the Quraan and if it's ok that they put the package in front of the door on the ground? I feel very upset and regret ordering it online but I had no other option at the moment. Would I get sin for it?

Sunnah method of teaching the Quraan

Q: Is it a sunnah method of teaching the Quraan to hit the student when they do not know their work? I know Islam advocates hitting the child for missing salaah after 10 years and to spare the rod is to spoil the child, but is it the way of the sunnah and the Sahaabah to hit the student for making mistakes while learning the Quraan?

Fighting oppression

Q: Could you please explain the Tafseer of Ayah 9 of Surah Al-Hujurat when Sayyiduna Ali (radhiyallahu anhu) was fighting in the battle of Siffin. Could you elaborate on that. Can you explain the word فَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ If the side of the oppressors does not stop, are they killed?

Comprehensive tajweed kitaab

Q: Several years ago, my Qaari Saheb taught me proper, comprehensive tajweed principles along with their application. Eventually, I forgot the principles although if I am asked to recite something, I can Alhamdulillah recite it properly.

I wish to revise tajweed. Please suggest a book (in any language: English, Urdu, or Arabic) that explains the principles comprehensively.

Meaning of the verse that Allah Ta'ala alone has complete knowledge of five things

Q: It is mentioned in the Quraan that there are five things which only Allah Ta'ala knows. The first is regarding when Qiyaamah will occur, the second is regarding when rain will fall, the third is regarding what is in a woman's womb, the fourth is regarding what a person will earn, and the last is regarding a person's time of death.

Nowadays, we can say when rain will fall by referring to weather forecasts. We can say whether a boy or girl is in the mother's womb by ultrasound. So when we have information regarding these things, then what does it mean when the Quraan says that only Allah Ta'ala has knowledge of these things?

Meaning of the word rajaa in the Quraan

Q: One interpretation of the meaning of Surah 18, Verse 110 reads:

“Say, ‘I am only a human being, like you, to whom it has been revealed that your God is One. Anyone who fears to meet his Lord should do good deeds and give no one a share in the worship due to his Lord.”

Another interpretation of the meaning reads: “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a man like you, ˹but˺ it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So whoever hopes for the meeting with their Lord, let them do good deeds and associate none in the worship of their Lord.”

When I shared the first interpretation, I later read it and saw the word “fears” used, so I told the group to focus on the Arabic as I thought the translation was wrong.

Then at one point I read: ‎قد يكون الرَجْوُ والرَجاءُ بمعنى الخوف

I had a fear of falling into Kufr

Reciting a Shaadh Qiraat

Q: Based on the following Hadith, how should we recite the third verse in Surah Layl?
