Q: My brother saw our abbu in his dream who recently passed away. He saw that our abbu was passing away in the dream, thereafter, he saw abbu's soul coming back to him, abbu was holding an egg, he broke the egg and pointed towards the egg. What does it imply to?
A: The dream implies that when a believer passes away, he leaves this transitory world and is released from imprisonment and is taken towards the everlasting gardens of bliss in the hereafter. This is similar to when the egg breaks and the living chick comes into the real world. Hence the deceased is indicating towards the true life and true happiness that Allah Ta'ala has blessed him in the hereafter. Recite some portion of the Qur'an or give some sadaqah and convey the reward to your deceased father.
