Q: I had a dream which I can not fully remember. However, what I do remember is that I was sitting in the lounge alone. and all of a sudden this person that I know came and was sitting on the other couch. I was shocked at how he like just appeared. We were then walking in like a complete different place but it was around an ankle high sewage farm. This person is the father of a girl that people suggested I go to see for a proposal. I did not read istikhaara. Please advise.
A: You should do your investigations of the person before confirming anything. If after following the necessary procedures you find the character, ways, habits, deeni values, etc. of the girl to be acceptable and your family elders are also happy and all of you are positive in this regards then you may go ahead. However, don't make a commitment without fully knowing the person.
