The various categories of Hadith

Q: Could you please clarify about the rank of hadith how one will identity whether it is sahih or hasan or da'eef or mawdoo'?

A: This is a science on its own. One who studies this science will know the procedures of determining whether the hadeeth is Sahih etc. Like a doctor who has studied the science of medicine can distinguish the different type of sicknesses.
