Nafil Qurbaani and Sadaqah

Q: When Zaid gave money to an organisation for optional Qurbaani, he made intention of sadaqah, is this correct? In the above situation will Zaid get the reward for both Qurbaani and Sadaqah?

A: Since he has appointed the organisation to carry out his nafl qurbaani on his behalf and thereafter distribute the meat among the poor as sadaqah, he will receive the reward of nafl qurbaani and sadaqah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
