Associating with men who imitate women and vice versa
Q: I understand that it is haraam for men to act like females and wear female clothing. Can mufti explain to me as to what the punishment of those who interact with these people or allow them to participate in their conversations will be?
A: The Hadith explains that such people are under divine curse. It is reported from Hadhrat Abdullah bin Abbaas (radhiyallahu anhuma) that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) had cursed those men who imitate women and those women who imitate men in their dressing, etc. (Bukhaari #5546). When this type of people are under the divine curse of Allah Ta'ala, then it is feared that the curse of Allah Ta'ala may also fall upon those who associate with them. One should therefore refrain from joining the company of such people.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
