Q: I kept my daughters name as maaidah as mentioned in the Quran, surah Maaidah . Please tell me if this is the right name for my daughter who was born on 4th september 2016?
A: Maaidah is not an Islamic name. The word maa'idah refers to a tray of food.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
