Q: Someone has told me that it is permissible to marry a Christian man, a Christian that doesn't convert to Islam and still have a halal marriage. This sounds totally incorrect and wrong, please elaborate.
A: In Islam it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a non-muslim whether he be a Christian, Jew or a follower of any other religion. If she marries a non-muslim, the nikaah will not be valid and they will perpetually be living in zina.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
