Paying back the original amount of a loan after many years

Q: My dad had taken a loan of 200 rupees from his cousin about 50 years back. Both forgot about it. Now, my dad remembered that he owes the money. What amount does he have to return?

A: He has to return the original amount of the debt he owed.
