Forgetting to perform sajdah sahw in salaah

Q: I was performing four rakaats of sunnah muakkadah and I had to do sajdah sahw but I forgot to do it. Should I redo my salaah?
A: If you had forgotten to make the sajdah-e-sahw, then you were supposed to repeat the salaah. However, once the time of the salaah elapses, the salaah will not have to be repeated.
