Q: If a person commits suicide, does the person go straight to hell?
A: What happens in the Hereafter is known only to Allah Ta`ala. This is the punishment and law for suicide. It is left to Allah Ta`ala to decide to execute punishment or to waive off the punishment.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
