Meaning of the Huroof-e-Muqatta`aat

1. What is the meaning of loohe Quran, like "alif laam meem, noon" etc.?
2. All the secret talk of shab-e-meraj between Nabi and Allah?

1. If you are referring to the Huroof-e-Muqatta`aat i.e. the beginning of the surahs then the meaning of these words are known to Allah Ta`ala alone. He has not disclosed their meanings. We believe in them, recite them and assign the meaning to Allah Ta`ala. Reciting these words will bring thawaab and virtue, and further virtue will be received for assigning the meanings to Allah, believing that He knows and we don't need to know it.
2. What Allah Ta`ala has made known to us we know, like the command of the five daily salaah. Beyond that, we do not know anything nor is there a need to pry into these types of affairs which Allah Ta`ala has kept away.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
