Having no record of the number of salaats missed

Q: How should salaats missed over several years be performed and discharged in a situation where one has no record of the number of salaats missed and from when?

One also does not know when one had become baaliq, in which case, does missed salaats have to be estimated from the age of 12 or 15?

A: One should use one's discretion in determining the amount of salaahs (i.e amount of years) one had missed salaah and thereafter immediately commence making up for the missed salaahs. One should also make sincere taubah for missing his salaah.

If one does not know when he had become baaligh, then he should consider himself to have become baaligh at the age of fifteen (i.e fifteen lunar years).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
