Hair transplant

Q: Is having hair transplant for males acceptable?
A: It is not permissible for one to have a hair transplant, whether with one's own hair or the hair of another person. The one who uses a wig made from human hair or has a hair transplant using human hair commits a major sin. Severe warnings have been sounded in the mubaarak Ahaadith for the person who does the human hair transplant for others as well as the one for whom it is done. Both these people have been cursed in the Hadith.
