Going for hajj with one's son-in-law

Q: Can a woman go for hajj with her son in law? Would a son in law be considered as a mahram?

A: Though it is permissible for her to travel alone with her son-in-law, as he is her mahram, however, on account of the abundant and overwhelming fitnah found nowadays and the suspicions and doubts that are created in the minds of people, it is not advisable for the mother-in-law to travel alone with her son-in-law. However, if her son-in-law and daughter are travelling, then she may travel with them.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
