Carrying one's child in a sling while performing umrah

Q: I will be performing umrah with my 3 month old son. Can I carry him in a sling? It is just a long cloth and I will tie him on my belly with it.

A: Yes, it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
