Parents paying for child's kaffarah of an oath

Q: As for the kaffarah for the oaths, is it permissible to feed 20 people one meal instead of 10 people 2 meals?

For a baligh child that is not earning and living with parents, can he fast as a kaffarah or will his parents have to give it on his behalf?

A: No.

He has to do his own kaffaarah. The parents are not responsible for the wrongs that he does.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
