Q: My daughter is in grade 10 and 5 para Hafizah. She is contemplating leaving school to continue hifz full time or start an Aalima course. She is an intelligent child and high achiever both in school and madressa. What is Mufti's advice?
A: The best we have found is that the mother must train her in the house. At grade 10 she will be at least 16. If she is not trained in the home then she will obviously experience difficulty in her future life. She may under the tutelage of her mother learn the surahs which are normally recited for the day and week and learn the essential masaail, the chapters of akhlaaq and how to live a marital life.
