Eating the meat of a qurbaani animal that was bought for a deceased

Q: In a case where shares of a Qurbani animal are bought for deceased, is it permissible to eat and use the meat of that share or should all of the meat of that share be given away?

A: If the deceased made a bequest before passing away that qurbaani should be carried out from one third of his estate, then all the meat should be given in charity. However, if some of the family members are carrying out a nafl qurbaani from their own wealth on behalf of the deceased and they wish to convey the reward of the nafl qurbaani to the deceased, then in this case the meat can be consumed by the family members. The meat does not have to be given in charity to the poor.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
