Fasting on the day of Arafah in one's country

Q: In South Africa, do we fast on the actual day of Arafah, in Makkah, or on the next day 9th of Dhul Hijjah?

A: A person will fast on the 9th of Zul Hijjah according to the country he resides in based on the sighting of the moon in his country.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
