Rejecting a Sunnah

Q: Does disliking a sunnah result in kufr? Like it's sunnah to keep the trouser till mid calf.

A: Rejecting any authentically proven sunnah is extremely detrimental and can take one out of the fold of Islam. However, if one has love for the sunnah within one's heart, but due to imaani weakness, he does not practice upon the sunnah, then this will not take one out of the fold of Islam. However, one should repent to Allah Ta'ala for not adopting the beloved way of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in his life.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
