Beginning and end of maghrib time

Q: If Maghrib ends at civil twilight end (depending on the place, 30-40 minutes https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/usa/chicago ), then why do apps prescribe a completely farther time for Isha?

A: The time of Maghrib Salaah commences immediately after sunset and terminates with the disappearing of the twilight on the western horizon. After the sun sets, there is a red glow that becomes visible on the western horizon.

After the red glow disappears, a white glow known as the twilight begins to appear on the western horizon. When this twilight disappears, the time of Maghrib Salaah terminates and the time of Esha Salaah commences. This is the opinion of Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) and the preferred opinion in the Hanafi mazhab.

However, according to Imaam Abu Hanifah's two students, Imaam Abu Yusuf and Imaam Muhammad, the time of Maghrib terminates when the red glow disappears, and this is also the opinion of Imaam Shaafi, Imaam Ahmad and Imaam Maalik (rahimahumullah).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
