Q: We have tried to speak to the company that facial recognition is haraam but they continue to insist on it. Will it be permissible to continue working for such a company where we need to use a facial signing in process to log our working times?
A: If the work you are doing is of a halaal and permissible nature, and it is only this facial-recognition signing in process that is a problem, then inform your company that this is not permissible in shariah, and that they should excuse you from this.
You should inform them that if they do not excuse you from this, then you will be forced to leave the job and look for another job.
