Making sajdah sahw after mistakenly making a third sajdah

Q: During prayer, by mistake, I went on for the third sajdah but as soon as I realized, I sat back without completing سبحن ربی الاعلی three times and then did sajdah sahw. Will my namaz be valid?

A: Your salaah is valid. You did the correct thing by making sajdah sahw for making a third sajdah mistakenly.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
