Q: I gave 1st talaaq in 2011, 2nd in 2017 and then 6 months passed without reconciliation. After the matter was intervened by families we went to an aalim in Pakistan and he made a new nikah with a new mahar.
Today I gave her 3rd Talaaq. I don't want to stay with her anymore but she is insisting to keep the talaaq secret so that she will do a halaala after 90 days.
She is also refusing to leave my house after iddat. We both are from Pakistan.
Do I have an obligation to tell her family that I have divorced her. What can I do if she refuses to leave my house after iddat period.
A: You do not have an obligation to keep her. You should inform her family that you have divorced her three times, and after she completes her iddat, you are no longer responsible for her.
