Q: I would like to know the maslah regarding women/men making dua aloud by the mayyit or immediately after the mayyit is picked up. If it is not right then what should one do at that time as almost every mayyit this takes place?
A: This is not established in the sunnah and it is an innovation in deen. Hence, this should be avoided. People should be educated regarding the sunnah practice at the time of janaazah.
