Q: I bought a new house, the qiblah is slightly towards the right however the toilets face north also but straight.
A: It is not permissible for one to face in the direction of the qiblah or to face one's back towards the direction of the qiblah while relieving oneself. The fuqaha explain that if the toilet is built 24 degrees or less from the direction of the qiblah, it will not be permissible to relieve oneself in such a toilet. However, if the toilet is built 25 degrees or more away from the qiblah, then to relieve oneself in such a toilet is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
