Clothing touching some impurity while performing salaah

Q: If I place a pure prayer mat on an impure carpet and pray on it but while making sujood the edges of my long jilbab touch the carpet, will my salah be valid?

A: If the impurity from the impure carpet did not seep through the carpet upon which one was performing salaah, and there was no impurity that had come onto the side of the jilbaab, then the salaah performed will be valid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
