Q: Is it permissible to give sadaqah to one's parents?
A: Yes, but it would be even more virtuous for you to help them with the niyyat of kindness and respect. It should be more as a token of appreciation for all the good that they have done for you throughout your life, like you would give a gift to your wife out of love and appreciation for her kindness.
