Q:
1. Is it allowed to buy a motorcycle if it has almost the price of a car? Would it be waste?
2. Is it allowed to exceed the speed limit?
A:
1. If one purchases an expensive motorcycle like the one you are referring to but does not do so for show, then it will be permissible provided he does not risk his life and the lives of those around him.
2. If one drives at a moderate and manageable speed (even though it is exceeding the speed limit), and he is not endangering his life, the lives of the passengers and other motorists, then it is permissible, though it is better that one keeps to the speed limit so that one does not put himself into legal problems, fines, etc.
