Restricting the time of an oath

Q: A person took an oath. 

After a while he said the oath will end in 1 week. After the 1 week has passed will the oath be valid?

A: Since he did not restrict the oath to one week at the time when he had taken the oath, but only mentioned the one week after some while, the oath will not be limited to a week.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
