Calling Shias kaafir

Q: Does calling Shias "Kaffir" make yourself a "Kaffir" since we can't make takfir of our own Muslim mumin brothers, is this correct?

A: Shias regard the Qur’aan Majeed to be distorted and attribute false allegations to the Azwaaj-e-Mutahharaat (the pure wives of Rasulullah [sallallahu alaihi wasallam]). They revile the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) and believe that the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) had turned apostate after the demise of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) (Al-Iyaazubillah). They believe in prostitution being permissible. People who have these beliefs are kaafir, and it is correct for one to refer to them as kaafirs.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
