Futile games

Q: Is this gambling: 

Person A says to person B: If I catch you, you have to give me a prize (and there was no mention that if person A does not catch person B, person A will give a prize to person B.)

A: All these types of amusements are futile, and to attach this condition in futile activities is against the Islamic teachings.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
